CDA Pushes for Timely Completion of Islamabad Model Jail
Islamabad: CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed authorities to expedite construction of the Islamabad Model Jail and ensure Phase I is completed on time. The transition of the project from PWD to CDA was discussed to enable seamless progress, with PWD coordinating until the handover. Phase I includes the boundary wall, administrative block, barracks, roads, and watchtowers, with Phase II to follow under CDA supervision.
CDA Resolves 15-Year DHA Plot Dispute, Opens 729 Plots for Public
Islamabad: The long-standing dispute over 729 plots between DHA and CDA has been resolved, with DHA handing over the plots to CDA. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa announced these plots will be offered to the public and overseas Pakistanis, generating revenue and development opportunities. Funds will be used to enhance Islamabad’s infrastructure, public services, and overall city uplift.
Deputy Minister for Industries of Beralus visits CDA
Belarusian Deputy Minister Aleksei Kushnarenko visited Islamabad’s CDA to discuss cooperation on the city’s transport system. He offered support for electric buses, aligning with CDA’s vision for cleaner, efficient public transport. Both sides explored technology transfer for electric buses and charging stations.
